Membership in HRMA
The Human Resource Management Association accepts members from
all majors. We only ask that you have an interest in human resources and would
like to learn more about the HR profession.
Since we are a student chapter of
SHRM, we
do require that our members also be members of the Society for Human Resource
Management national organization. Membership in SHRM costs $35 annually and is
good for one year from the time you join, regardless of when you become a
member. As a member of SHRM, you will receive HR Magazine and HR News, two
periodicals published by SHRM. There are also other benefits to becoming a SHRM

The fee for becoming a member of the student chapter at the University of
Arkansas is $10 and is good for one academic year. You can pick up applications
for membership at the Management office (BA402), or you can contact the student
chapter President for more
information.
